I didn't resort to FAR to beat the game, but I did the CPU limit shortcut to avoid the white screen freeze. Maybe with FAR I wouldn't suffer from stuttering in the cutscenes, but the crashes are worse.
It's a pitty that a good game like this one is not very optimized...
Cutscene stutter is unrelated to not having FAR; it's because the cut scenes are 30fps video instead of in-engine. So if you're pushing 60 or more FPS they'll be a bit rough, and if you're like me and running ultrawide they'll be stretched also :D
I just skip them tbh, after seeing them the first few times i wanted to just get in the action.
i have, but iv'e played long enough that it doesn't bother me too much.
My apologies then; i thought it was related to the differences between the source and the refresh rate of the monitor. But i didn't know anything about the freezing and stuff.
