Problem with emil mask

Hi, i want some help beacuse by accident picked up emil mask during the second rud and finally made through eding C and now when i tried to trigger the fight with emil it didnt happen becuase the emil mask appeared again and I can´t discard the mask that I already have in my inventoy.
There some kind of program to delete the mask frrom my save game?

I believe the ID for Emil's mask is 993. At least the Google Sheets document I link to lists it as such, if this is for the quest item:

"item_uq_emileMask 993 Emil head"

Edit: Be sure to make backups of your save before attempting it! I have no idea what effect this will have on your game.

Dont you have to return to Emil after stealing his mask, then go back to his home as 9S to hack his chest? I had Emil's mask already in my inventory when i had to go steal it. Realized it when I got to his home. I went back to meet Emil and he said he bumped up his security, so if you already have the mask, maybe the game just needs you to visit his home and return to him.

I know this is half a decade late at this point, but in case anyone else runs across this issue, you do not need to pick up the mask a 2nd time if you didn't complete the quest and still have it in your inventory. You do however need to go all the way down to Emil's house and work your way back up to him to get the dialogue from Emil that continues the quest.

Just do everything like normal, except the mask won't go in your inventory the 2nd time.
