I can't save??? [I FIX IT!!!]

I try to save the game after the tutorial at the base but the save file is not save.
I try Windows Defender Feature: "Controlled folder access" add NieR:Automata™. Not working.
I try unlink onedrive. Not working so I uninstall it. Not working.
Steam cloud? Close after I unlink onedrive.
I set NieRAutomata.exe to launch as administator. Not working.
I try talk to "Anemone" for second mission and save it again. Not working.
So I got to resistanct camp and up to the bunker try to save again. Not working.
Google's Backup and Sync? I don't have those.
Hidden file? Noo, my Documents is not hidden.
So I re-install the game. Not working again.
Try disable Windows Defender. Not working.
Also the save file folder of this game is no where to be found in my pc.

AND I have like.... playing that tutorial to get there to save the game for 6 or 7 rounds!!
I am out of idea. Someone please help me?
This game work fine. No rack..... But it can't saveeeeee!!

- Reinstall onedrive if you uninstalled it.
- Go to C:\Users\(username) find onedrive.
- Right click on onedrive and click setting (if setting not appear run onedrive as administrator).
- Go to auto save.
- Set Document to This PC only.
- Play the game. :)

(There isn't have This PC only in Auto Save page)

- Right click on onedrive and click setting.
- Go to auto save and click Update Folder click Stop Protecting under Document.
- Back to setting click Account.
- Choose folders and uncheck Document.

Based on how he already met Anemone I guess he is far passing the prologue.

Perhaps try saving directly from the access point? If not perhaps there is something that tries to delete your save file or preventing you from saving your progress

Thank you『tonycake』. I just sooooo sick of that tutorial. I think I found all of hidden chests in that scene. Fu*king Fantastic! I will try other things I come up with first before try FAR. I don't want to try to fix FAR for what ever problem I might have to fight for it to make it work. I didn't see FAR say they can solve this problem. Isn't it fix fullscreen issue, cutscene stuttering, blurry
texture and etc?

You should try my failed solve this problem, many people said it can fix their.
Most popular fix is unlink onedrive, uncheck Steam cloud.

Thank you! I just fix it too. I re-install onedrive, click and check every option their have and found that it can change direction of the file that will download to, I change the document to save it on my pc and it work!

Fu*k you window 10! Uninstall the program is not enough, it is still set location of the file to onedrive!!

Anyway we are all save now. :)

I think create another user account in the window is work because it is not connect to the current onedrive. It make sense that my solution and your is relate.

I have had that problem when not playing on my main storage drive. Some games won't work for some reason when doing that.
