ERROR: Graphic:Startup() FAILED No graphic memory

Just bought the game tried to start it and I get this.

Looked on Google and havn't really found a firm fix, so posting in the hope someone knows what to do before I refund it.

I have been waiting so long for this game to come on sale as well :(

What are your specs?

Basic summary:
i7, 16GB RAM, 1060 6GB, SSD

It should have enough grunt to run it. I do have a PS4, but it isn't a Pro and so really wanted to play this on PC. Very frustrating.

Yeah, no issues with the specs. This error message is annoying as hell as it doesn't really have anything to do with the VRAM. It's a "catch all" error message when the game couldn't initialize a window. It could be caused by all kinds of issues, basically.

You're not using the FAR mod, are you? Just to exclude that from the things to test. You could also try and see if reinstalling the GPU drivers solves the issue.

I don't know if you've seen my posts in previous threads but I basically described this issue like throwing darts blind, and hoping something sticks. It isn't common, luckily, but since it can be caused by basically everything from heaven and hell the issue is extremely frustrating and hard to troubleshoot.

I had the FAR mod downloaded, in case - but, not installed. I thought I would try it vamilla first, but I didn't even get that far.

I have now installed the mod, reinstalled graphics, rebooted and nope - nothing.

Might have to start looking into the power of sacrifice rituals!

A nice little sting in the tale is that each time I try to run it, a few minutes are added to the play time closing my refund window :/

Got it running.

What I did was to go into the Nvidia control panel settings and added the game under Manage 3D Settings. Hit play and it launched! I changed nothing other than add to Nvidia ctrl panel
