Someone explain why this didnt win best soundtrack.

Because Cuphead's soundtrack is incredible? I don't know how else to even say it.

it really is not that good. transistor and undertale have been soundtracks then cuphead and i don't even like undertale that much

atlest nier won game of the years best soundtrack which is more then cuphead can say.

Same explanation as for why I am bread was nominated for an award.

People will just randomly choose a game and get a card without giving it any though.

I'm not bothering with these awards unless they overhaul them completely.

As much as I wished for Nier to win some awards I always knew it was going to lose to other titles. Nier is far less known than games like Cuphead or Rise of the Tomb Raider. It was clear that the most popular game for each category would win.

popular doesn't mean what they were selected for was good. thats just blind fanboyism. i dont own any of the games for best soundtrack but i checked to see which one deserived it the most.

cuphead would be the 2nd to last choice.

thats like saying saint's row the third desrives best sound track for having i need a hero, Ride Of The Valkyries etc in its raido tracks.

Cuphead's music is original. They didn't reuse music from other sources. Now you guys are starting to sound butthurt.

I didn't say that it re-used soundtracks. I'm saying there's nothing special to it. Just music that replicates the kind of music you'd hear in a 30s cartoon.

And you're correct. It is inspired by 1930's music. And it is great. IMO. Others below you (who I actually quoted) were insinuating that the soundtrack was just sampled 1930's tracks.

Cuphead soundtrack wasn't as indepth as Nier. They had many songs spliced into other chunks of soundbits in the game depending of your gameplay it was nuts. I know other games have done this before, but damn it was still very well done...
