Run of memory since second lunch
I have played Nier Automata first level till hanger at first run and exited the game. Later when I started it again it crashed with "Windows is running out of memory" error. Then I restarted and closed several other processes. The game ran for 10 minutes and then again memory error.

What's with that? I have 8gb memory and the game says it needs 4gb ram. Is not 8gb ram enough? BTW I have FAR mod already installed.

Check the memory usage using Task Manager to determine if it is NieR that eats memory or something else.

Did you disable the paging file on your hdd/ssd?

Hi all, thanks. It turns out it was indeed Nier Automata eating the memory and no, I did not disable the paging file. So I just updated ram to 12 gb. Now it works fine. The game so far feels very good. Damn, if the game was not good I would have considered refunding it.
