a question about os chip removal ending. aka T.
So i was about 5 hours into the game first time playing and i got curious about removing the chip. i made a save then removed it. It sent me to main screen as it does then later on, my save says Ending : T . My question is im still playing will it cause any problems? Will it change once i finish the game and get one of the endings?

The ending is shown on your save since you can collect all saves on a single save for competition purposes. It doesn't affect anything at all except for that.

This is how a save that have all endings unlock on it looks like: http://i.imgur.com/gi91Ej3.png (the final triangle is the DLC story mission ending)

Endings F-Z are all "joke" endings.

Endings A-E are for completing the game.

And as Aemony said, the final triangle is the DLC story ending.

Totally unrelated but I can't resist ranting about this. The way the endings and achievements work is one of the things that really defines this game for me.

Not story related, but still has to do with the 'main' endings:

The way they use the endings to condition you into rolling back to try for a different outcome - how they demonstrate to you how you are supposed to use it after ending A, and how C and D tests you on it along with the achievements shop mysteriously not offering to sell you the "watched the final end credits" achievement - I felt was incredibly clever. It makes use of the games medium in a way I found super refreshing compared to this idea that storytelling in movies are the ideal that games should strive for.

I'm never going to tell anyone they are wrong for not liking the game, but I feel these sorts of things are often overlooked and is why poking at people bashing it for "needing you to play ng+ 3 times" and somesuch has become a bit of a pastime of mine. I'll never defend this game's technical issues and I'm not super invested in the story, but I'd die on the hill defending the things that make it interesting.

Huh, I never thought about that. But it sorta makes sense now that you mention it.

Yoko Taro is such a troll it wouldn't surprise me if one of the joke endings becomes canon for a sequel lel
