PS. Don't add me because this isn't my main account
However, let me point out my goal wasn't to simply get through this one specific area. Once I reached the area where I encountered this issue the most, I moved around and lingered in the area on purpose trying to get the error(admittedly, it often happens very quickly). However, if you instead rushed through the area it's possible you just got lucky and didn't hit the error.
I had to do something similar during the intro. Essentially, I brute forced my way through the intro scene after many tries and managed to avoid the white screen.
Anyway, this is not how I want to play through the rest of the game. I'd prefer to not have to constantly worry about freezes once I hit these known trouble areas. I'm still hoping for a real fix, but at this point I'm not going to hold my breath.
1. Crash to desktop
2. White screen (this is NOT freeze, the game is still running, you can hear audio and you can push buttons, only the screen is whole white)
3. Freeze (the game completely freezes, audio freezes, screen freezes at the last rendered frame)
And they said they fixed freeze, probably just means the last issue, which is the most rare issue for me.
