A small question. (Spoilers)

Ever since I got all the endings (Including the DLC ending, yes. The DLC has an ending.) I've been wondering about something.

What is A2's backstory ?

I came up with a small theory about this: We know that A2 deserted YoRHa and is basically known as an enemy to every YoRHA member. But, is she techincally an outcast android either way ? I mean, just look at her name. "A2". Her name first starts with a letter, than a number. Not a number then a letter. I found it pretty unique, but, that's just something I thought about.

No, she left after the Pearl Harbor mission. That stuff was covered in the stage play.

Her name in Automata is a reference to Shakespeare (as is 2B's).

There is a lot of missable lore on Anemone and A2 on a terminal in the resistance camp. I only found it accidentally since there is no marker or indicator for it.

I'd argue with no indicator part, when you first meet Anemone as A2 she basically outright tells you that you should go read it.

It's interesting to note that when A2 was betrayed by YoRHa at the Pearl Harbor mission, she still didn't actively destroy any YoRHa units she came across, or even really saw them as enemies. She was solely focused on killing every single Machine she found.

That was up until YoRHa Command sent a 2B model to execute her, that is. Seeing the 2B model based off of herself attempt to terminate her was a new and far worse betrayal by YoRHa yet again.

And after that she truly began to despise YoRHa itself and began killing any YoRHa unit she came across.
