I figured out what Easy Mode is good for
Working on my second playthough, I realized that after I unlocked the Weapons Dealer that I was still using stock equipment. I had slugged through the entire game without using any upgrades or chips at all.

And oddly, I didn't have enough materials to upgrade anything, either, since I literally speed-ran through the game the first time just trying to get it over with.

So, that means it's boring grinding time. Ugh. Just what I wanted in my Action Game, MMORPG style grinding for loot drops. Yaaaaay.

Needless to say, it's a pace killer for me and not fun at all. So I popped the difficulty down to easy, equipped the Auto-Chips and a couple of Loot+ chips. I've been watching videos on my other monitor and letting the game play itself while just randomly tilting the stick around and refreshing trashbots in the first area by traveling to/from the Bunker.

Easy Mode is great for engaging in mindless grinding that would otherwise be incredibly tedious!

(Minor spoilers)

If you go to the area where you first encounter Adam, (the desert apartments cave) the foes respawn infinitely.

I imagine all you'd need to do then is go there, set the game to easy, equip auto chips, and auto item pickup, and put something heavy on the W and A keys (to make yourself run around in circles).

come back in a few hours to find yourself @ L99 with full money and massive supplies.

Thanks! But I've already maxed out my gear with just an hour of grinding, and more gold than I'll ever need.

Might try that later when I'm completely done with the game and want to be horrifically overpowered.
