Anyone found a way to get Reshade 3.0 and FAR working together?
Would love to use the shader effects of 3.0 and have the performance of true exclusive fullscreen.

NVM I mucked up my original dxgi.ini file so it wasn't finding the shaders.

How do you use them both?

I was thinking I'm supposed to install Reshade first, save the dxgi.ini content.
Then install FAR, and paste Reshade's dxgi.ini content into the overwritten dxgi.ini by FAR.

This didn't seem to do it, though.

You need to first have ReShade 3 installed;

then inside game folder rename dxgi to ReShade64 (do that on all files named dxgi specially DLL one) and then get FAR installed;

then open dxgi.ini (that you added from FAR) and then add at end this:

[Import.ReShade]
Architecture=x64
Filename=ReShade64.dll
Role=ThirdParty
When=Early

Save the edit and try to run game then.

BTW I asked Kaldaien on seperate matter if its possible to add more dll and he replied:

Probably, I have no idea what that is, but you can import up to 16 DLLs the same way as ReShade, Load-order is resolved in alphabetical order based on <NameOfImport> in Import.<NameOfImport>

I have yet to test this myself since I am busy with other matter atm.

Question: Do i really need to use FAR? if the game does not work in fullscreen how come totalbiscuit didn't mention that on hes POrt report

He did mention it.

He said for some odd reason for him works but the problem for others exist and mentioned that forums are flooded with such threads.

PS Kaldaien made FAR to work in such way that you can use even Borderless with it so its up to you.

When I use FAR with DG's reshade, whenever I activate FAR, it seems to add all these weird "enhancements" that kill my fps, hence making FAR useless to me rn.
Any way to disable these enhancements?

if you want to get rid of reshade, then you'd delete /reshade-shaders/ and the associated reshade64.dll, or whatever you renamed it to.

Using the FAR overlay seems to make reshade.....reshade again. Its making your Reshade enhancements double.

Just toggle it off with Ctrl+Shift+O

Hmm I heard someone mention that in import part if you change into When=PlugIn it might solve this problem.

The mentioned steps above are outdated since a version or two of FAR ago. See my tweak guide for updated instructions, the "FAR: ReShade PlugIn" chapter.
