Anyone found a good SLI profile?
I tried to force SLI with AFR 2 but the gpu scaling is really random and usually bad, for example I can have this :
http://i.imgur.com/NNjlAg4.png 66% gpu usage, 44 fps
And a few seconds later this :
http://i.imgur.com/SbGboLr.png 84% gpu usage, 60 fps

The gpu usage always drop, along with the framerate, when there are effects like explosions, particles etc, and it usually never goes up again unless I hit the pause menu.
I could maybe get 60 fps most of the time if I could have a good sli profile with a constant scaling.
Finding a better sli profile is my last hope, otherwise i'll have to wait until I get a new gpu =(

Someone shared me his nvidia inspector profile with the 0x080002F5 sli bit and it actually worked! I don't know why, the profile looks the same as when I did it myself, but this time it worked, so I uploaded it if someone wants it too :

Thanks YukiS for sharing me the profile, hope it will help some other people too! It looks like I don't have the lighting glitches for now
Thanks dudes, worked like a charm on my 2x 980Ti SLI! :)

Life saver. I too still use my old 690.

I have 2 1080s on SLI. Since we still dont have a "official" sli profile i'm trying out a custom one.
Using 0x080002F5 sli bits (from Rise of The Tomb Raider SLI fix)
Now i'm getting around 60fps on 4k (Anti Aliasing and Blur Off). Still testing.

edit: with 1 card i can't get to 60fps on 4k... so for me its working so far... hope it helps

Hm, I have actually an issue with SLI, performances are perfect but there's a lighting issue, some interiors are darker than they should be, and some exteriors are brighters :
SLI : http://i.imgur.com/h2aLvCF.png
NO SLI : http://i.imgur.com/MU9fCDF.png
Switching to windowed modes and going back to full screen again fixes the issue but it's only temporary, here is another example, before and after alt tabbing :

Can this link to the working profile be reposted somewhere?

If you're experiencing the issue then just reset the NieR:Automata profile in Nvidia Control Panel and use FAR or Nvidia Profile Inspector to reapply the SLI bits.

Also, the "working" profile link is visible when quoting/editing the post, so your own reply actually includes the link as well.

Add this after the mega url
Or what Aemony just said.
Steam is becoming super annoying with these removed links...

Thank you Larxian and Aemony! I think it's working perfectly for me now. The profile sets the DX10 compatibility bits, and because I have SLI GTX 980 (x2), I had to set the "Number of GPU to use on SLI rendering mode" to 0x00000002. That made SLI work and together with FAR, the game renders at the full resolution (1440p for me). Note, I've only tried this in Full Screen mode, so I don't know for certain if FAR is actually doing what it is supposed to, but it does seem so. Also, I turned off "Global Illumination" in FAR and anti-aliasing.

You shouldn't completely trun off global illumination, put it to at least medium (and I'd even say High, high is the right balance instead of ultra, medium still lack a lot of effects), otherwise there will be some serious impacts on the visuals with missing effects
Yup, put it on High. I played the game on 1440p 60 FPS using two 980s in SLI myself a couple of months ago and High is definitely doable on those cards and gives you minimum changes to the visuals.

Just be sure to play the game in fullscreen mode (SLI doesn't work for window mode) and with antialiasing disabled (enable AO instead, which includes a separate post-processing AA filter) and you're good to go.
Yes, thanks. I did put global illumination on high and the system was fine.
