Security on these games is a chain, and one of the rungs is now broken. Pretty sure nobody cares how they run it, so long as it runs.

If KarisxmatikO wants a cracked game "without any malware" then the current state of the crack to NieR:Automata isn't that. The "cracked" game still uses Denuvo, so pirates expecting to play the game "without any malware" will still do so, since Denuvo is still there and doing its thing.

You know this might spur SE to actually patch the game (high doubt in my mind). More specifically, they might just push a patch to update Denuvo and leave the rest as is :p I am being sarcastic right now, but you never know with SE.

You're the one spreading that "FUD" nonsense. It is not selling well on PC. Square Enix is disappointed and calls games failures when they sell as much as 1M copies. 300K copies must be absolutely unacceptable for them, which is probably one of the reasons they completely abandoned the PC version immediately after launch.

you say they abandoned PC after launch but jokes on you, they did not. They milk us with DLC because they know we will buy it because we liked the game. Actually paying to optimize a game after launch is a completely different thing

SE is run by evil money greedy CEOs for real, just look what they did to Mankind Divided. I don't like them one bit but saying nier didn't sell on pc because of denuvo is really an agenda

I wonder how much the performance and loading times improve without denuvo. If anyone tries it, let us know.
