Quest: Jean-Paul's Melancholy

I was talking to this robot Jean-Paul at the village, which asked me to chat with two other fan robots and delivery their gifts for him. And THEN after delivering Jean-Paul's opinions back to the fans, I seemingly do not get to talk to Jean-Paul one last time to complete the quest (which appears to be the supposed last step). He only responses with his usual rambling.

The map no longer has any marker for his quest either. What am I missing?

No marking to go to the Desert housing area? It's been awhile but I remember the quest was just a back and forth thing.

The quest text mentioned two fans, so I thought I was done until I re-read the locations and saw a mention of the desert. There was no quest marker in the map unlike the amusement park. I had to manually arrive at the desert housing for it to pop on the mini map.

Good point and thanks. Because I was trying to complete that too and realized that it wasn't marked on the map.
