This game is officially out everywhere but Saudi Arabia! However, the DLC is lol

So, this game wasn't released in Saudi Arabia with its "worldwide" release on March 17th. And that was odd because it was released in UAE and these two markets are usually considered one!

Anyway, most of us in Saudi waited for it to release in Asia because maybe square considered Saudi part of Asia. Now it got released in Asia but still not in Saudi! and that makes it officially the only region in the world that the game is blocked in!!

Of course I have to mention that Square didn't bother to submit the game to be released physically on PS4 here, because they knew it wouldn't qualified. But blocking it on Steam too does not make sense since the Saudi government doesn't care nor has power on Saudi Steam (Some banned games here like GTA V are like drugs in Saudi and Rockstar didn't care and released it on Saudi Steam) So this is entirely Square's decision to block the game in Saudi steam and it's totally up to them to release it. But I guess they chose to continue their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up decisions ever since the announced the PC port!

I can buy this game easily from third parties, but I wouldn't be able to refund if it ran poorly :(

Funny thing though, Dlc is up on Saudi steam with price and everything lol

Probably this will get buried, who cares about Saudi players. But I just wanted to tell the sad story of the Saudi Pc players with Nier Automata especially after the release of the dlc.

I explained this in the OP, Saudi government can't do nothing with Steam. Games like GTA V are banned and hard to find physical but available on Steam in Saudi anyway! And you can actually find Nier Automata PS4 discs in small stores here, and the government knows it but they just don't care since it's niche game and yeah

The DLC is available in SA but the game is still locked. This is hilarious xD

Go buy a steam key form one of those websites that sell them (make sure its Global) then buy the dlc (if you want) normally on steam. That's what I did.

All of my friends in WW are playing this game together and since I've seen them playing on steam I'm too much disappointed that it is only banned in KSA and there is no use of buying it from other sources as it will remain non-steam even after adding it in my steam.

I have a question here, What if I ask my friend to send it as a gift? Will it work?
