But it can be just me...
Anyway, literally anything is better than getting ending e of drakengard
You aren't shown behaviour and emotions, you are living them in first person.
I myself spent about 30 minutes trying to get over it alone, then the game crashed (actually closed itself for some weird reason, like an alt f4) and when I did it again I took the help.
I'm still convinced it's entirely possible with enough patience, if that's what you want.
What you bring to the table as a player, desires, beliefs, values, patience, etc. is going to determine what you got out of the game.
Someone already mentioned you can get help in Offline mode. So I guess OP kept refusing help. Then blames game for his refusal. GG
It is possible. There are a few checkpoints along the ending, but even then you'll need a lot of patience and time.
On a side note, for people who can't play it online and don't have the patience, there's always cheat engine.
I was under the impression that there wasn't any checkpoints at the end where the difficulty ramps up extremely much? I got as far alone as to the final segment where suddenly THE HELL IS UNLEASHED and everything has a ton more HP, and, well... after dying over 10 times I finally threw in the towel.
I thought that as well, but no, there are more checkpoints. Also, after you die enough times, you get a damage boost.
This guy explains it:

I thought it was simply intended to make you skip the easy part and just keep trying on the actual challenge.
[edit]
Watched the video, I stand corrected.
What I'm more angry about are people who don't have internet access. I like the idea of not being able to get through life on your own idea, but the fact that if you're someone without internet access, you're practically screwed and you can't access the final ending. That's what I'm kind of annoyed at.
That and I lost connection to the servers sometime during the game before I got to Ending E. I played the game with online mode just on.
