Can I rebind the dodge button?
As the title states, is it possible to rebind 'dodge' to another key? Instead of having to double click one of the movement buttons, which is a pain.

I've played games like Bayonetta and Dark Souls 3 with mouse and keyboard just fine, so thought I'd be okay with this game also, however it is looking like I'll have to spend £30-£40 on a controller.

Any help is much appreciated.

you can rebind all key, keyboard and pad same, you can bind what you want, to what you like !=)

As far as I know double-tapping the direction keys is the only way to dodge on a keyboard. However, the keys are rebindable, so you just need to configre them the way that suits you best, like I did. No need to shell out cash on a controller over it.

but if he's saying that double-tapping to dodge is not ok with him, then controller is pretty much the only solution as even with changing controller mapping you still have to double-tap.

Cheers for the replies, however I've decided to just get a controller to save me the hassle, hopefully I can get more use out of it in the future as I play pretty much all my games with mouse and keyboard.

I commend your decision. I've found that I play a lot more games with a controller since I picked up one myself, especially third-person games like NieR, GTA and Fable.

Being right handed but moving my mouse with my left hand presents a really interesting situation when using a mouse and KB. Luckily most games map both the arrow keys and the left side ASWZ for use in controlling direction but having the camera on the mouse sort of leaves me with it on the left side instead of the right and that, for me, is a bit much. That's the main reason I use the X-Box controllering. I don't have to remap any direction keys at all if the game supports the controller.

Double-tapping the auto-run key can also serve as a dodge button. Just map it to what you want, and double-tap as desired.

Cant even bind anything to LAlt... my Dodge button for all games 😂 (Would rebind S to Alt and double Alt could work as backflip dodge but noo... I am forced to use their settings)

Edit: Rebinding S was a stupid idea 😏

Use NAIOM[www.nexusmods.com], it's an external tool that will help fix various KB/M issues the game has, as well as providing better rebinding options, among which there is also an added dedicated evade key.

Thanks for the hint but I decided to buy controller to avoid similar issues in the future (I barely survived Vampyr - good that I could edit INI files in that game)
