I get goosebumps when the violin comes after the piano.

Instead of posting what tracks I like the most, let me instead mention a few versions of tracks that I am quite sad that the official OST doesn't include.

If I had to pick a single track of all of them to select as "No. 1" then that would've to be

Oooookay. This is much more likely. I should have probably searched the forums a bit more. Pages in and I didn't find threads on the OSTs. Felt very odd.
Does anyone have any thread links for the thread about the OST?
Huh? I was talking about the number of tracks I loved from the OST. We have had a few threads about the OST now and then but most of them are about where it can be obtained and not really about the tracks themselves. There haven't been a major thread either way that gained traction for longer than a day.
Sadly too few seem to discuss the OST.
OoooooooooooooHHH. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Okay, then this thread has somewhat of a purpose to exist. I shoudl have asked as to why people feel they love a certain OST. So why do you guys like the OST you guys chose?
I can understand those discussions, I've been desperately trying to buy the CD, but SE's merch site sucks and imported japanese discs cost too much.
It's an amazing OST, tho. Most great themes are quoted by other tracks, and harmonic progressions are kept pretty familiar one with each other creating a sense of continuity, envoloping the whole game world, contextually broken by some great "sui generis" moments like Copied City and the tribal trance tune in the Tekken-like double boss-fight.
I think they found some of the best ways to build boss fight themes without the epic-generic kind of vibe and still not stealing the thunder from the gameplay.
But my favorite track is actually from a quiet moment, "Voice of no return", it plays after some of the most melancholic sidequests. I absolutely love the cello seconding the voice, singing in a very unique mimicked french. Soothing yet pretty simple harmony, it gets to me in a weird way. The first time I heard it, I literally spent 15 minutes in the resistence camp, unable to let this tune go.

That said, out of the tracks that are original, my favourites are Adam and Eve's boss battle, Sound Of The End (quiet), Mourning, Birth of a Wish, The Colour of Depression, Blissful Death, Faltering Prayer, and Vague Hope (cold Rain), and of course, The [E]nd of YoRHa..
Though I absolutely adore all the music in this game. Truly fantastic, magical almost.
Oh, and OP? You get bonus points for mentioning Shadowlord. It is one of the most genius tracks in ANY game due to how it progresses and ends in its implementation... I mean, just hear this:

Especially after ending A, that final stretch, where EVERYTHING is stripped away except the music box as the Shadowlord is broken inside just destroy me inside.
