so i was wondering, is the playthrough for to be and nines the same? sure, ur now fighting through the eyes of 9s which had a boring start compared to 2b, but do you need to redo everything now that you did during the first playthrough?

i don't really remember, but i think its does. Plus, you have more side quest with 9S perspective

All non-story quests carry over between playthroughs, provided you actually finished them in the first playthrough. there were a couple of sidequests i half-finished and had to start over from the beginning, though i believe the half-wit inventor and father servo quests let your progress carry over even if you didn't finish them.

well, so far i only seem to have to do the main quests. unless i dont have to do any quests i already did. that would be nice. its like a second playthrough of your first, but you only have to do the missions you didnt do on your first.

If you finished a sidequest from the first playthrough, then you won't need to finish it again. The only exceptions that I recall would be the first two missions for the resistance camp members. There's still going to be additional sidequests that are exclusive only to 9S mainly because of his hacking ability. Aside from that, the playthrough is mostly the same except you're using 9S now. It mainly becomes different once you're finished with the Flooded City section.

ya, i recon the story has to continue since during the ending credits, you definately heard stuff related to 9s.

second playthrough is another perspective with more lore information that you otherwise would of missed. And finishing unlocks C path which is a COMPLETELY different experience, lots of feels and an emotional wreck to remember for sure.

C path is totally worth it. Trust me.

I don't know why everyone says Route B is the same as Route A. They're similar and go over the same quests, but the differences are everywhere. People make it sound like you just replay the same game again like it's New Game+, and it's so far from the truth.

Your progress for Half-wite Inventor and Father Servo both indeed carry over to other Routes.

You repeat the same quests only in name and location for the resistance members, but the items you need, and the enemies you fight there, are totally different.

i came up with it after i saw that shakespear part. to be, or not to be. 2b, or not 2b. i think the developers themselves thought people would make a connection, and named the android 2b.

though i did found playthrough 1 and 2 too similar, i am at playthrough 3 and i love it more than the first 2. maybe because everything thats happening now is so unexpected compared to the previous 2.

i also didnt expect the story to last so long. finally i can see where the size of the game is coming from, and the characters are really putting emotion in their voice when they say their lines.

spoiler question
i do have a question though, since i havnt gone fully through playthrough 3, can you choose who dies during playthrough 3? i mean, now b2 died, was that meant to happen or is there an option where you can choose 9s to die when you take over a2?
