I don't see a lot of people mentioning this, but one of 2B's initial squad mates, 4B, gets restored and returns to combat during the battle against Grün.

From the quest with 16D, it implies 11B never got restored back to pre-mission state. Why not? Fearful that the same personality will inevitably go AWOL again? Why program such a personality package then into B models then? Or restore her from an earlier backup date so recent memories are not there influence. Guess same argument for 8B, 22B, and 64B too.

And YoRHa does not seem to mind "resetting" 9S multiple times.

On playing the game part 3 a second time, I realise 8B did get restored back to non-traitorous status and was leading one squad during the post-Eve major assault. Now this makes it even more questionable.

I would just assume there are many battlegrounds than the ones we have seen, and she was simply sent to another. There are also many Bunkers in the orbit from the cutscene explaining about YoRHa in the prologue.

The S (Scanner) model is an exception. They're highly advanced and extremely intelligent and is bound to realize the truth given enough time and clues.

Thing is 16D's conversation suggests otherwise. If 11B had been restored, she should have known about her re-activation. Unless for some classified or personal reason, a newly restored 11B tried to "hide" from 16D.

11B's black box was completely destroyed so that might be why. That would make sense too since there might be a risk involved when u detonate ur black box like 2b did and the commander scolded her for it

Posted update on my second game play.

In part 3, 8B is actually restored and leading one squad during the post-Eve major assault.

Now this really challenges why 11B cannot be restored as well. Or indeed she did hide her restoration from 16D.
