As I don't have any problems with other VR games at all: Am I the only one who has extreme framerate drops and stuttering when turning my head? Could it be the realistic shadows causing this (Brookhaven is the only other game where that happens, when I switch realistic shadows on) . My specs seem sufficient: i4790 @3.6GHz, GTX 980Ti, 16GB Ram, Windows 7 SP1. Nvidia drivers are up to date. Looking at the task manager shows, under 6GB are used, CPU usage always under 40% and supersampling setting down to 0....

Does this game play on an Oculus setting or is it only playable under a SteamVR setting? I can't get my Steam VR to work properly...always has an load error. Been working with Steam to fix it..no luck. Won't purchase if SteamVR option only. Please respond someone...

Hi. I'm a dev with an Oculus Touch engineering sample, and I noticed I wasn't able to play this game in the tracked controllers mode like I could with my Vive. It seems like it defaults to gamepad controller if it does not explicitely detect the Vive controllers. Even if you don't have the Touch controllers to test, they map quite well to the Vive control scheme so I was wondering if you could just tweak your detection method. am i missing something? i cant get past the part where you're running away because a 3rd raptor will attack me before i can reload. there's no stratagy i can put into effect its just straight up i have to wait for the reload animation to finish before i can defend myself again...
