Serial Cleaner old and new bugs and issues

Hello dear players!

In the last couple of days we've observed a significant increase of the number of owners of Serial Cleaner. Many new players have been, of course, provided with the key after the last Humble Monthly pack for July had been unlocked (https://www.humblebundle.com/monthly/p/july_2018_monthly). Together with new players came a lot of new comments and discussions, connected, unfortunately, with series of various bugs and issues.

We have reacted as soon as possible and just few moments ago we have updated Serial Cleaner Steam version to solve as many issues, as possible. Many of you noticed Real-World Data problems. The error with Real World Data occurs because of the problem with third party software we're using. We double checked (and paid), so it should be good right now. Sorry for that issue. But even when you enounter this error screen, you should be able to play the game.

The other problems are individual issues, connected with specific configuration of hardware. We encourage anyone, who is still facing technical bugs and issues after the update, to send us an e-mail at [e-mail]. Please include descriptions of the problem, screenshot if only possible, as well as dx_diag.txt. Thanks to this we will be able to try to solve issues as fast as possible.

Well, my game simply freezes at the info screen detailing the real world info, and as of yet I haven't found a way around it

I'm unable to click "OK", and even disabling my firewall doesn't help

I have the same problem. I only see a 90% in the achivement but I can't go any further.

I have the same problem. I only see a 90% in the achivement but I can't go any further.

Same here, but didn't get any answer on what to do, were you able to solve this issue by your own?

Found a fix.
Step 1, locate the save file in %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Ifun4all\Serial Cleaner\data.sav
Step 2, delete data.sav
Step 3, enter offline mode on steam
Step 4, load up Serial Cleaner
Step 5, exit Serial Cleaner
Step 6, enter online mode on steam
Step 7, load up Serial Cleaner (use local save)
Step 8, enter the first map and hold Space.
Step 9, let go of space when you feel enough time has passed, the achievement will pop up when enough time has passed and Space is no longer pressed.

I am in exactly the same boat.. Would love to get this final achievement as it's driving me insane

I finally got this achievement using the following method (basically creating a "clean" save file with fulfilled achievement condition on a 2nd Steam account):

Step 1, disable Steam Cloud for the game
Step 2, create a new Steam account (or use existing 2nd account that doesn't own the game)
Step 3, enable family sharing for that account from main account
Step 4, log into new account, disable Steam Cloud for the game
Step 5, locate and delete folder %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Ifun4all\
Step 6, load up game
Step 7, enter the first map and hold Space.
Step 8, let go of space when you feel enough time has passed, the achievement will pop up when enough time has passed and Space is no longer pressed. [same process didn't work for my main account in many attempts]

The fact that I have to go through a solution as convoluted as this is making me question my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sanity

Edit: And it didn't even work. Sat there for 15 mins, 10 mins, and 10 mins again, and nothing. This game is completely broken, and I refuse to waste any more of my time on it. ♥♥♥♥ this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
