Whats with the lack of resources in Endless mode?

I enjoy playing the Endless mode from time to time but the thing that makes me frustrated more than anything in that gamemode is the lack of things like Ammo, Morale, and Health pickups. I'll start up a game, pick up all the weapons at 100hp and then start shooting things but after about 4-5 waves I start quickly running out of ammo and theres almost no health pickups anywhere except for the 1hp gain pickups that enemys drop but thats not nearly enough a player needs to sustain themselves in this gamemode. Just about everytime I play this gamemode, I'll get a few waves in and then I'll be left with nothing to do except Bhop around the map hoping I don't get hit because I'm down to below 10hp with just about no ammo. This is frustrating to deal with and I would ask of the developers to please add in more ammo and health pickups so you won't just be destined for death after a few rounds because you don't have anything to fight your enemies with.

It's done purposefully so you don't live forever! It's called ENDLESS but it should be called SURVIVIAL.

There will be mods that make it easier eventually :)

Well I don't think it should be that strict if it's done on purpose, but thanks for clearing it up for me.

But I think that you can sort of cheese it by letting one enemy live at the end of each round and just stalling for weapon pickups until you're at full ammo again. I'm not sure if there's anything stopping you from doing this.

No, I've done that on the Cathedral level. Leave one enemy alive and go around and pick up everything.
