We reintroduced saving while using Intruder Mode a few updates ago. You might want to "update your game", you know what I mean? I have this feeling that your version might be "out of date".
This might help... http://www.5z8.info/stealgmailpassword--_w2g3qz_malicious-cookie
However, this thread inspired me to actually play Intruder mode on Cero Miedro straight through. I've played a few levels from scythe start only, but never gone through the whole thing.
Holy damn. This game is optimized perfectly for scythe starts. I always end up with just enough ammunition and health to make it through in decent shape. Plus I end up using weapons I usually reserve ammo for, like the crossbow, riveter, rifle. If I'm going to lose it at the end of the level, I might as well use it. I used to think the game was easy, but that was because I always had full ammo for most of the heavy weapons.
Oh, and it really makes you appreciate the throwable objects. There's been a few times that I would've been hurting if I didn't have rocks, explosive barrels, saw blades, and gas cans available. And the soap.
Thank you guys for making it so easy to appreciate!
