does anyone know if its possible to get DSR and exclusive fullscreen working on a 1080p monitor without having to set desktop resolution to 4k?
After setting the launch parameter the micro stutters I was having have disappeared. I'm happy about this because it was driving me nuts trying to work out what was wrong with it.
I have a 3070 and an i7-9700KF
It's probably easy to mis-read if you skim over it, so I might edit it later.
Instead, I allowed it to run in windowed mode. Then I used AutoHotKey to create a script that would hide the top title bar of the window. I used this script:
WinSet, Style, ^0xC00000, A
After saving the script, I created a shortcut and then bound that shortcut to a key on my keyboard. I hide the Windows taskbar on the bottom of the screen, and then used the script command to hide the title bar on the top of the screen and bam! Full screen.
