Around the time of Episode 2's release we made the decision to upgrade to a new version of Unity and to stick with 64-bit. This was done for a multitude of reasons, including increased performance and the eventual porting to consoles. As I'm sure you know, support for 32-bit operating systems has been on the decline for some time now. However, I can sympathize with your frustration as we didn't make this transition clear.
Know that we've discussed doing a seperate 32-bit version of the game for those with 32-bit OS. We aren't sure how long something like this would take to test/deploy and some of the logistics are still up in the air, but we are looking at it. Again, I apologize for the frustration and miscommunication on our part. When I have more information I'll update this thread.
As a heads up we just released our 32-bit version of the game! You can find it by right-clicking DUSK in your library, going to Properties, then Betas, and "32-bit" should appear on the list of branches.
