Dusk on Mac - Controller not working. Help please with config.

I cannot make my controller work with Dusk on a Mac (I use the PS5 one, but also have a generic XBOX controller) - it works fine with other games on Steam with Mac. The Controller is properly configured in Big Picture Mode.
When I start up the game (no difference if normal or big picture), the controller does not work, but it is recognised once I unplug it and plug it in again. Steams says controller recognized using my normal user controls (I also re-identified my controller just in case), However, the controller mapping is totally messed up, including looks, movement, etc.. I tried everything I could think of, but it is not working. Any advice?

Getting the controller to work on mac might require you to edit the controller mapping file in the games mappings folder to work just right, there are instructions included in the folder to work on remapping. It will be difficult and annoying, but it can be done. I can probably find some time tomorrow to work on the mapping and give you one that works!

Hey 500_pts, is there any update on this, I cannot even find a mappings folder on Mac, according to PC Gaming Wiki, there is none for the Mac version, I use "Enjoyable" and remapped the buttons to keyboard inputs, but reconfiguring the inputs in game doesn't work out as the controller seems to have hardwired default inputs, for example I reconfigured R2 to shooting but it just opens the menu. Help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

With my setup atm this is the only way i can play this game. Please provide the mapping for mac!

Is there anyone at team dusk willing to fix controller support for Mac? Because it's completely broken. It's advertised as supporting Xbox controllers, but it just doesn't.
