DUSK HD working?

So I downloaded the version from the workshop, set it under start parameter. However I don't see any differences to the regular game. Even my FPS are the same

You must get the free DLC on the store page.
It's not a Workshop download.

I did. The HD folder is already in the game directory of Dusk. I mean there's literally no indication that you play the HD version.

You should have the option to PLAY DUSK HD when you launch this game once downloading the DLC

No luck for me either - I added the DLC to my library, but when I install the game, it's just the regular game with no launch option for Dusk HD. When I click download on the Dusk HD DLC directly, it just launches the game. There's no DLC option under my Dusk properties either. I deleted, re installed [using the "Download Dusk HD" DLC button], and verified the game files but still no launch option to start Dusk HD. Any thoughts?

This is on Steam Deck FYI, not sure if that changes things.

EDIT: Reddit figured it out, the linux version isn't updated yet, so you have to force install the Windows version by selecting a proton version prior to installation.

here is what i did.
go to the dusk hd page.
go down to where it says "DUSK HD is in your steam library" then click play.
an option menu should pop up for if you want to play DUSK, DUSK HD, DUSKWORLD.
when you do that you can now play dusk hd with out having to go to the DLC page

Glad someone finally worked this out, all the official advise was just "it's a launch option" but nothing I did has it show up. Proton it is.

somehow clicking again on this link started a regular game, but when I exited it redownloaded the DLC and now DUSK HD is on the list. weird, but I'm glad it's finally worked
