This or Ultra Kill?
I cannot decide and can only afford one.

i mean, i agree the game is overrated,but the artstyle i think is pretty decent, i can understand the "boring" shooting, enemies i think are fine though.

have you tried amid evil or ion fury, i think they are both way better then dusk imo.

HROT is another game that is pretty good, it is in early acsess but it does seem like it will get finished.

I find Amid Evil to be of WAY higher quality than Dusk, yeah.

I agree. I still think Amid Evil is the best "boomer shooter" we've gotten since its resurgence.

i tried ultrakill during a party at a pc club (slav thing)
i like dusk way better, its more of a horror
but amid evil is sure worthy

Ultrakill by 1000s of miles, it is just too good to miss out, don't get me wrong, dusk is really good, but ultrakill just is so more gameplay complex and don't even get me started on the weapons, dusk's are what you expect from fps's weapons, but ultrakill let's you punch you own bullets so they can go faster

I'm more of a fun of retro style FPS than character action games so Dusk appeals to me more than Ultrakill

I'll just throw my two cents in even though this thread keeps getting necro'd:

If you can only pick one;
Ultrakill if you prefer Doom Eternal over Doom 2016 / OG Doom 1+2
Dusk if you prefer OG Doom 1+2 / Doom 2016 over Doom Eternal

I couldn't get into Ultra Kill, myself. Not sure what it is, but the flow of that game does not feel natural to me. I had a great time going through Dusk, on the other hand. I want more games like this.

I only played Dusk, but I really love this game and put in nearly 20 hours. I keep coming back to this game over the years because it's fun, horrifying, and the level design gets trippy towards the end.
