G-Sync doesn't appear to work in fullscreen mode?

Anyone know how to fix it or have this issue? I don't think the game uses true fullscreen mode/exclusive fullscreen but rather borderless windowed. I can only get G-Sync to work if I set 'enable for window and fullscreen mode' in the 'Set up G-Sync' menu category in nvidia control panel.

I normally use 'Enable for fullscreen mode' selected in NVCP because I mostly use fullscreen mode when gaming - particularly when using G-Sync.

TLDR;

Yes, Dusk uses borderless windowed, so you need to enable for windowed and full screen to utilize gsync.
