What do the lightable fires do?

I haven't found them all, but it seems to be that in each level there's a pile of wood either in the open or well-hidden that you can walk up to and use to light. I don't need any spoilers on what happens if it's true, but just for confirmation, does lighing each one in a particular episode trigger any sort of super-secret or are they really just for decoration?

Well, after lighting them you can cook a piece of viscera on it, eat it, and get a +25 health boost. Not sure if there's any point to them beyond that though.

Yup, chair is confirmed. It actually lit a mage on fire after I hit him with it, however it doesn't seem to do much more damage than just throwing a chair at them. Works with boxes as well, but it didn't light anyone on fire. Also works on explosive barrels and gas cans, but it's probably a good idea to throw them away pretty fast.

Doesn't work seem to work with hay bales or tires though.

And sadly, basketballs don't catch on fire either. I was really hoping to re-live the glory days of NBA JAM. "HE'S ON FIRE!" "FROM DOWN TOWN!"
