Scratch that because I'm getting the levels mixed up again. Although it does sound like "Homecoming" would ideally precede "Dusk." What exactly are you getting stuck with on this level?
just grab keys, activate the spinny things to change gravity and kill the necroplasms as you go along, its one of the easiest levels in the game tbh
You just need to "adjust" to the new gravity, once you do that it becomes quite obvious where you need to go.
grab red key in barn, flip gravity. there's only one way you can fall out of the barn so don't deviate too much from that angle once you start falling.
land inside the house on the far side through the open window and you'll be at a red door, use your key, grab the blue key and flip gravity again
fall outside the house, land outside another house with a garage, open garage with the blue key
change gravity and hit the button by the upstairs computer that's playing dusk, it opens a neighboring garage
go inside that neighboring garage that just opened from the button press, change gravity again, fall to the sky island
hit the button on the island to open the locked hatch that's on the island, jump inside the hatch
from there it should be exceedingly obvious what to do
Not for the gravity thing, but the whole "coming home but everything is strange and twisted like a in a recurrent nightmare and everybody I used to love is no more" really messed me up.
I think I found the house and it's escapable. The crossbow can be used to hover up to the stairs and then jump out the front door. Also, the riveter and mortar can also be potentially used to escape. From there you could return to the barn and grab the red key that you missed.
I found there were too many gravity-flips and a lot of time spent falling from space, frantically trying to drift towards a spot to stop my descent and catch my bearings. I also found it disorientating when landing on something the entire screen felt the need to rotate without any reason: I hit a tree upright, and the world decided to revolve so I was looking down at the base... I just had to manually twist back to my original... but didn't see why I had to, I was just correcting an unwanted interference by the game.
Either way, I watched a video and used the above guide to get me through this level... but it's the only level I wanted to be finished quickly to get onto the better ones.
Other levels I didn't enjoy were the ones in pitch-black, playing the game through a small illuminated circle, centre screen. I didn't mind the gloomy fields and villages at sunset, but groping around in dark tunnels made me want to rush through that level and get it finished quickly.
Maybe in the next games just add a selectable "call of duty console lol gamepad" mode with waypoints and a military dude yelling at you when you go the wrong way.
