Constant scrolling in main menu
as soon as I load into the game, it scrolls through the menu options uncontrollably, as if I've got an analog input jammed in the wrong position. After messing around with my analog devices, I found it was input coming from my T.Flight rudder pedals, because the resting position has a value of -1, not 0, in some games. I unplugged the controller (all my controllers) and restarted the game, which solved the issue then went into the settings and disabled controller input. After plugging the controls back in, then launching the game again, the problem was back - even with controller input off. This makes me suspect that the game doesn't properly ignore the input from the rudder pedals.

I realize I can just unplug the device and it'll work fine, but I just thought I should post this so the issue is documented somewhere, in case anyone has this problem in future.

We will hopefully have a solution for this in the very near future, as the next patch will include a controller binding .ini that can have manually set thresholds!

Has this issue been fixed?

I've tried disabling controllers in the dusk.ini file but the constant scrolling remains.

Thanks.

The issue is no longer present for me at least. Can't remember what exactly solved it though, as it's been almost a year. I presume it was the .ini setting the dev mentioned. Double check that you actually saved the change to the .ini? Maybe try setting the .ini to Read Only to see if the game might be overwriting your changes? Afraid I don't have any more insight at the moment, but if I happen to think of something I'll let you know.

Yeah mine scrolls infinitely too. Just bought the game recently. This is completely off topic but Hbender, we used to call the game Hell Bender H Bender because we were Christian and of course saying hell is right out. :) Thanks for inadvertently reminding me of that awesome DirecX 1 game.

I fixed my issue. My 3d connexion space mouse program was causing the issue. Killed it and it's working as intended.

lol you just solved my problem! Hello, Fellow 3D Connexion Space Mouse User! Do you use it for Blender? i can't seem to get it to work for Blender to save my life. i mean, it WORKS but its Stutter-y
But this was the issue, i had got a Space Mouse, Cad Mouse and Keyboard, installed the Programs/Drivers and it screwed Dusk up for me!

GreetingsI have had limited success and blender with it. I think I was having issues with the directions not inverting or setting properly. I use it primarily for the zbrush. I will have to try it again with the new blender updates.

I have this issue too. And yeah, I have a space mouse -_-... It's not even plugged in, but the main menu scrolls like crazy. I got past it once for some reason, and then my characters started spinning uncontrollably mid-game instead. I haven't been able to get past the main menu at all since.

Uninstalling the 3DX drivers fixed the problem, but I now have the issue I'll have to re-install that and re-add my settings. About time for a refresh, I suppose. But I haven't had this issue with any other game and that is quite annoying.
