Amid Evil is also a New Blood game. If you like the bonkers level design in Dusk you should like Amid Evil.

The new Blood is great, DOOM with Brutal Doom and the Sigil WAD (Highly recommended Brutal Doom is amazing) ... and now I just got DUSK I hope it's as good as everyone says. Also you can try STRAFE it's also great.

You can turn on mouselook and a crosshairs for quake 1 via the console. You could also try source ports and any of the 99 billion trillion custom doom wads out there. Like the one that turns it into a clicker, or the one that lets you p*ss on the demons and literally throw your own sh*t at them.

Painkiller is great if you haven't tried it ,it's not exactly recent being from 2004 but it's graphics are still much better than Dusk's ;-).

someone made a guide listing retro fps games on steam. not all of them are similar to dusk in the way that you're bunnyhopping everywhere, but they generally have fast paced gunplay.
