Climbing on Mount Kraken
I wanted to find out how high you can go on the mountain. Set up tents every time I got to a significantly higher place where it was possible. I think this was the second from North in the map below.

This is a view to West, outside the map. I think this was near the tent close to the South peak. That's one of the tents I will be leaving in place, because I saw a very nice looking elk just outside the tent when I returned there for the first time. Missed my chance to shoot it, so I'll be going back to check on it later.

Here you can see where I went. You can climb to the lower peaks in North and South, but the higher ones in between seem to be inaccessible.

And this is how it ended. I thought the slope ahead seemed to steep, but turning back didn't seem much better, so I decided to try. Bad idea.

HA HA You too! I was on Kracken the other day and made it about half way up the eastern side until I got hung up on a rock that just would not let me hop up a level higher Will have to try it again when I have time!

I tried it too, had about same progress. I seems to be inaccessible without special climbing equipment

I tried the same thing. Judging from our maps, I made it only slightly further on the southern ridge near the border with roonachee. Eventually became just a sheer rock face and lept to a similar fate as op.

the way I made it up was to start on the north side and work towards the edge of the map then up and over the range in the west side until I came out on the south side thne there is a bunch of hopping you have to do to make it to the top

This shots from the peak

I'm assuming that you guys are talking about this little ridge right here https://imgur.com/QGiOMOI I actually managed to scale it 3 times, but it took me an hour to find the right footing, the second try took me around 30 min to figure out how I did it the first time, then 10 min cause it is a slippery slope (I crashed one time and fell off a slope after that one which caused me to scale it two more times) https://imgur.com/5oFAkhm the rest of the climb was relatively easy with one more obstacle that was not as hard to climb https://imgur.com/cIB2N3V https://imgur.com/uxd8xEo
