Additional Inventory slots
Was wondering how hard it would be for you devs to add more inventory slots.

Currently, we have 1-0 for items to be quick accessed. There are times when more slots would be nice, using Ctrl+1-0, much like how MMOs have multiple hotbars.

This way, I don't have to continually micromanage my inventory and could have everything I carry on hand.

So, three or four weapons, four or five callers, scent eliminator, two or three scent lures, binos/rangerfinder could all be used rapidly without having to enter the menu.

Just wondering; why are you dragging around so much stuff?

Personal choice. I'll try to take as much stuff that can be used on the reserve as I can because I can't stand going through the terrible store and inventory management screen.

Makes sense and I don't blame you. I don't use the scents and have never even tried the scent eliminator. I typically carry a bow and pistol for weapons, the range finder binos, and a portable stand. The rest of the slots are whatever callers I think I'll need.

all you need on the new reserve are 8 slots, 22 pistol for rabits, MN1890 for Roe and the sheep, Roe caller, 30-06 or the new 6.5mm for wolves, boar, and red deer, caller for each, and binocs. 9 slots if you want a first aid kit for playing with wolves.

Yeah, but that's a small reserve. What about the others?

Hirshfelden, you want/need your three weapons of choice, Goose caller, Predator Jackrabbit caller, Roe caller, Antler Rattler, Boar caller, Red Deer caller, Scent Eliminator, Red Deer Scent, Roe Deer Scent and Wild Boar Scent. Maybe First aid spray if you're prone to falling off of cliffs.

That's 13 or 14 items, not including a tent, which I wouldn't need if I could easily carry them all with me and use them.

Edit: Forgot the Binos/Rangefinder, so 14 or 15 items.

i go minimal on all maps, never use the backpack, never use scent elimantor or scents, i stalk rather than ambush.

Hirsch i carry the .357 or .45 for the fox, MN1890, 30-06, and Crossbow, Roe caller, antler rattler, distressed rabbit, boar caller, red deer caller, and binocs. 11 items, i swap out the boar caller with one of the others when i want to get boar.

I don't use tents or stands so i don't bother carrying them. Only time i've ever used a tent, other than when i first got the DLC to check it out, was for the broken Bhandari #10 mission.

And i don't duck or goose hunt so that saves me some space also.

But yeah i get it, for those that do both a few more slots would be cool. Could be with the backpack like posted earlier where you can remove it and leave it behind when not needed or for noise reduction while stalking.

Edit: i lied about never using scents. i use Musk Deer scent on Medved, and Roe scent for the mission in Hirsch it's required for.

Yeah, I like to try and carry everything I could need on that trip, should I happen to come across a good animal.

I once found a fox that may have been a Diamond but didn't have the right rifle for it. Went to get it, came back and could not find his tracks. Was determined to have everything I could need for that reserve on my person from then on out.
