Honestly, you're being a bit of a d*ck there.
no clue, he didn't make much sense in his post.
I agree with you guys that changes are not necessarily a bad thing, as long as, in certain cases, they remain optional, rather than imposed on everyone.
It seems that in controversy, there are always going to be extremists on each side, and this OP seems to be leaning hard to one of those sides.
Goats can be called. I spent a season culling goats for the Forest Service here in New Zealand.
I called goats all the time with my vocal rendition of a lost goat bleat. While goats would not come to the call they would certainly answer, and that made it easier to locate them.
This is a game. Im happy to play by game rules either way.
If anything it makes a point for a caller that only causes response calls (like we already have for some species) but no change in movement of the animal.
Suspect it wont take long to work out what calls Goats and Sheep with whos deer skill. Just like Bison and Bufalo. 1 Adds a random chance of attracting a species that is not usually attracted by a particular caller. 2 Adds a random chance of inducing a vocalization response from a species that is not usually affected by a particular caller.
Which suddenly to me seem the wrong way around on the skills for some reason.
The statement was that goats dont respond to calls. They will respond .... by calling Back.
However, Ive never had the chance to try with sheep and Ibex.
When people use calls, they use them to lure them in. That is what I meant by "They don't respond to calls". No one buys calls just to get an animal to call back and that's it. They use them to get animals off of property they don't have permission to hunt in or to move them in closer so that they can take an ethical shot.
exactly my point
