Albino Gray Wolf ???
This guy seems elusive to me so I am looking for some info on him. I have harvested hundreds of Gray Wolves and got excited with each of my 4 Egg White Wolf harvests but have yet to even spot an Albino. For those that have got one or more.

Is he a Lone Wolf or part of a Pack.
Day or Night.
Found in the known Wolf zones or non wolf zones.
Any insight would be helpfull.

He is my last Yukon achievement.
Thanks.

Jimco!!! It's been so long since we've heard from you I thought maybe gone to Hawaii for the winter. Sorry I can't help U since I have never encountered an albino wolf, just one eggshell actually. I do know where there isn't one though. If you go to the outpost where you picked up the hatchet and go straight west along the trail it to where it ends at a crossroad you are in the right area. There's a good sized pack in that area but based upon the spawns I've had...wherever an albino is or may eventually spawn...it isn't there.

Thanks for that, if I remember right I think that 's the map area around the bridge that I got all of my Egg Whites so guess I will concentrate back in that area.

No I am still playing though a while back I had a corrupt save file put me back quite a bit in progress,my last save was 22 days old (my Fault) so I was pissed and went quiet for a while.

I will try your area as well .thanks.

Hey, I harvested 423 Gray Wolves until I found an albino. It took about 70 hours. I made accurate statistics. So 7 of all the wolves were brown-red, 5 white eggs, 3 melanistic and 3 lvl 9. Good luck then. :steamhappy:

Good luck on finding the elusive albino Gray wolf Jimco.

I have well over 100+ hours in game on looking for it and hes still out there chilling somewhere.

I have shot many egg whites but no Albino yet.

I bought the tree stand pack and will set them up in different locations along with a tent.

I am hoping that once set up and laying in wait , he will come to me or i spot him rather than me wearing out another pair of boots looking for him.

Unfortunately i have not been able to install my new purchases because steam informs me i have not got enough free disk space to install my new Dlcs.

Good luck on finishing the final achievement for your last elusive Yukon achievement.

If you have a second disc you can have steam libary in different or multiple locations.

I am pretty sure you shouldn't have to install DLC's as they are already in the game content you have. That is how you can hop into someone else's game and play with any of the maps and see the equipment they use. Buying the DLC should just unlock the license to use that stuff.
Unless you are on an old version that needs updating, there is something else wrong with not having space.

Thanks. Will just keep trying most of the mentioned area's but it appears this one will possibly take a long time. I have taken 4 Egg White's but have never seen another since my last which was along time ago.Could be that the Albino is not roaming freely around the map at any given point in time but his appearance is triggered by some unkown event.

Theres a few folk got him and boy he looks great mounted.

I had tunnel vision for quite some time where i would go out looking for him and not shoot another animal in case i scared him off.
This tactic frustrated me some what because i was thinking " Maybe" he has more acute vision hearing and smell because he is an achievement . I bought the tree stand pack and i intend to set them up along side a tent so now ile jump from locations and sit in the trees silently rather than walking around . Who knows , i might get lucky..

I caught several White Egg Wolves but I never had the chance to see and kill an Albino Grey Wolf, it must be very rare. I'll come across him one day, chance does things right.
It is true that the wolf has a large hunting territory.
4 year resurrect apologies

the easiest way to tell albino from egg white before you even take a shot is the difference in nose colour. Albino is the lack of pigmentation, so even the nose is pale pink, whereas the egg white is simply a different pigment, so the nose remains black.
