Why does it cost money sleeping in your own tent that you bought for 16K?!
this is a scam!

thought tents were free in your cache, or is that from a DLC?

But regardless yeah, you shouldn't pay to sleep in your tent.

Camping fee

P.S. I am not saying it is right or wrong. Personally, I never rest in the game, I hunt through every night

me too usually, but a camping fee would indicate you're in a formal camping area, not out in the wild somewhere. Maybe that's different in your area? here we can camp for free anywhere on public land, or pay a fee in designated camp grounds.

It costs so little I didn't even notice until you pointed it out lol.

for a newbie its a lot! and yeah camping fee seems resonable, but it shouldnt be in the game, i dont wanna assume anything but are the devs to lazy to change the code that the tent does not work like a normal Bed?

and in the game it costs evereywhere money to sleep.

I assume the cost of sleeping is used to prevent need zone abuse and that's why it gets more expensive each time. Makes even more sense now, in my opinion, that we have bird hunting that is often abused too. If y'all weren't aware, a lot of people exit to their main menu and launch right back into the game to reset bird spawns. It's cheap and broken. Imagine if someone could camp one spot and reset the time over and over until they got what they wanted back in the area. Yeah, no thanks. I'll keep the fees for sleeping.
Guts Jul 3, 2019 @ 11:08am
The tent can be used to reset hunting pressure, and you don't even have to sleep in it. Just place it down and exit to the menu. When you rejoin, you'll be at your tent with hunting pressure and spawns reset. No need to sleep as long as you're still in the time frame where things will come by your area.

And you're on a wild preserve. That's why sleeping costs money. Camping fees are normally charged on a per day basis when in a state park.

that's exploiting the hunting pressure bug, use it till they fix it :P

Didn't think about being on a preserve, makes sense why it costs to sleep in tents then.

That exit to menu and reload with a tent is also a good trick to get kills to show up ya need in mission zones its really helped me.

Here's the thing I don't understand: When you sleep in a tent the cost gradually rises. I get that. But say you are in LL and the cost to sleep in a tent has risen to 1200 plus. Then you go another reserve (doesn't matter which one) for the very first time and when you sleep in a tent does it cost the starting amount of 250? NO!! it costs 1200 or more. (It doesn't have to be the very first time, you can bounce around the reserves all U want but the price of the tent sleeping will still be the same on the next reserve, if not more, as it was on the one you just left.

Cheat engine works if you really think things cost too much and just want to hunt undisturbed. I use my player level and weapon score as the limiter for myself. I don't like having to manage money because I don't want to hunt at night, I don't agree with spending hard earned cash on hunting stands that might never get me a trophy, and I don't want to have to shoot 5 animals to be able to mount 1 trophy. I like having progression but imo there's no reason (other than adding artificial difficulty) to have 2 different metrics limiting you from using better equipment.

I am thinking about use cheat engine only for money.

I think prices are too high and what you receive for every kill or missions is not very much.

I feel that the game is unbalanced in this aspect. I enjoy exploring, building hunting structures by all the maps and hunting undisturbed.

I play this game because it is very nice (wonderful lanscapes), calm, relaxing, and relieves the anxiety that we often encounter in real life situations. If during the game, I remember, "I need to hunt a lot of animals if I want to set up another tent", it's like going back to real life again.

I hate spend money for resting or building hunting places you can find in the map, backpack or pay 16000 for tree stand if I pay real money for the dlc.

Would you put a certain amount of money (about 50.000) or add it if when you need it?
