You willingly purchased a Early Access Game and informations are provided what to expect from the time the game is in Early Access.
Here's a bit of fun information on the game:
SCUM's been available as Early Access since August 28, 2018. Text from the Early Access blurb on the Steam Store page says this:
Note: no release date was ever set
So the earliest possible release date would have been August 28, 2019. Here we are 5+ years after Early Access availability (which was a very playable, and in fact better version), and still there's no 1.0 release in sight. Now the players are being used as beta testers, with obvious bugs making it through internal testing easily.
To add salt to that wound, the dev team keeps pulling things people enjoy out, and adding things they don't care for. This is one reason I gave up on the game. The second reason is single-player mode: it has jack-all to do in it, other than be used as a primer for PvP. It was also touted as a hardcore survival game, but with the removal of animals and fishing being a minigame, I don't see how it's a world with life anymore.
It had the promise of being a truly great game. Sadly I think that promise has come and gone.
All is said ... new contents, OK GREAT but when we don't like it why continue to let it in game or just fix what wrong with !?
All are not bad, cooking, energy, radiation, new bunkers (but difficulty suck), plane (but not enought and what for), new mechanic about car, BCU lock, EMP grenade ...
Yes it is true.
And i hope too mods will come and give to this huge amazing sandbox all of his deserve.
Ironically it's one of possibilities of early access.
