SCUM
End Game?
With 1.0 seemingly around the corner, an end game comes to mind. Will there be one? I think the ultimate end game would be to escape the island, but this would have to be done in two phases.

One phase, planning how to escape. I could think of two, one being the old Sub in the Naval base. The ocean surrounding the island would be deep enough for this boat to submerge and leave the island with a handful of prisoners. Needing to fix it up, arm it with some torpedoes from the factory, and most likely defend it from TEC01's forces while it prepares for launch.

Two, heading to the military airbase in D4, scavenge parts to fix up one or a few jet fighters, fly out below radar. This plane would be faster than a prop engine plane, so it would be another good escape plan. Same scenario for the sub would be the same, TEC01 trying to stop you while you're getting the plane out of the mountain and onto the runway.

Now in order to escape and not have your head explode from the Bio Control Unit or BCU that's implanted in the back of our heads, they would need to be removed. As seen in the past few game videos, one guy has it removed.

This, I think should only be done by another player with very High medical skills and not done by the trader medic, as I'd believe he is just a TEC01 pawn.

This concept of having your BCU removed could bring on permanent death game play. You get a player to remove the BCU, there is still a risk of it failing, so you most likely get a yes or no prompt saying,

“You are prepared to have the BCU removed. If you continue, there is a high chance the unit will be damaged or if successful, will be cut off from the clone system. You will be truly dead. (Permanent Death)”

This will now let you escape, however you could still die at any time before then.

This would make the end game interesting, challenging, and fun. Thoughts?

the map only uses 1/4 of the isalnd perhaps Scum 2 is on the other side of the wall.

I knew there was a wall tunnel, I thought it was removed, but yeah, that could be an escape possibility too.
I personally hate gameplay storys that lead to true endings specially in open world games.
It kinda defeats the point of the game of u having fun just playing like why do u want to end your game if u did u can just start over by deleting your character and starting over.

My thoughts is I think what ever the mainstory goes it needs to circal around so u stay on the island with its storyline not lead to you having a start over or game over story.

It just dosn't fit such styles and themes of game from a player perspective that actually don't want to leave its stupid in my option and hurts the hole concept of the actual game to add a ending story.

If they most have one they need to have alternatives routes of choices so you can stay on island permently if you want not be forced to a perment ending or start over. Just my thoughts.

Also if the main story going to just lead to permently ending or start over ending then it defeats the point of even making such a storyline because i wont want to do the main story because i dont want my gameplay to have a ending unless i choose not to play or to start over but not by forcefully ended what kinda reward is that for a mainstory line? Also if i did want to start over then i defintly dont want to have to play a mainstory every time or at all id just delete my character and start over, it would be faster and if i want to quit playing id just stop playing. Just more of my thoughts on this.
My thoughts were.

You are in a game show for the amusement of those who watch like that running man movie.

You enjoy a certain level of freedom since you are not cooped up in a jail cell, but your life can be in danger. Freedom does have a cost.

You have all your gear, supplies, skills and you overheard this story.

Of someone who made it to freedom, train and tunnel wall are words you overhear and you remember about C0.

So you gather all the supplies you can think of, carry and enter C0 and make it to that tunnel.

By the time you are through this arduous journey, your supplies are nearly if not all spent, you have past by many corpses of those who did not make it.
Some of those corpses have been partially eaten by the puppets that you had to make your way through. The stench is almost overbearing.
Supplies are supplies though so you search and take what is useful.

After what seems like days of this journey.
You hear this eerie silence and you feel a draft. I must be near the exit but I see no light. You have just 1 match left or a few seconds of flashlight battery, lighter fluid. So you light your light and you see something open and vast and then the light goes out.

Boom several lights come on and you are surrounded by several thousands of spectators in an arena who have been watching your every moment on your journey, on some very large view screens.

Welcome survivor. You hear in a voice through a loud speaker.

So glad you could actually make it through! You gave us a lot of nail biting entertainment.

Sunlight appears at a entrance ahead of you as 2 doors open.

Welcome to Scum 2.0

This time you start with the gear you have on.

PS: Oh also your hands won't be tied!

You are one of only a few, a very small few that have made it this far!

The crowd cheers you onward!
Lore wise we are in Scum 2.0 the lore states the Scum show was original a Arena then they made it to the current island so lore wise dosn't make sense for a Scum 2.0 it be Scum 3.0 but devs said they want to make a rebellion system.
My guess it will keep us on the island just free from corperate control maybe.
My thoughts is from the character creator is when we make our character if u notice we go into a cryo capsule like cell im guessing this is on the island in a bunker some where and then all sudden we connect to our clone and get tossed out a airplane.

My guess is our actual body is in the cryo capsule in the story and is in some bunker on the island along with our clone copy being made on the island it self in a bunker.
So maybe story wise will lead to us finding were our actual body kept and disconnecting the corperations from control of it and then using the system against them in allowing us to always have a clone version of our selfs but were the corperation has no power over or control only you do so u kinda liberate your self and use the system to your benafit and it sets the game up for the never ending gameplay loop thats still connected to the original story plot.

That is my hopes they are going to go with the story and it fits the lore in being able too.
You also have to remember that the game trailers have a theme, and they are hinting at TEC01 returning in force, back to the island.

Also my idea wasn't something to be as a true end game, if you wanted to continue the fun you're having, the option to, do the above mentioned escape methods. Just an optional thing if you are into the Lore, and want to see an ending.

It makes sense to have some kind of end game at least. Some people might like the island and being able to kill people, so they stay. Some others want to get off the island and live a free life. The choice is theirs, its just nice to have the option! I like the idea of having the three different options, that would give it good replayability just to experience the different endings.
