A way to permanently remove a tree
When cutting a tree down, let it leave a tree stump, and after server restart the tree regrows.

Then add a way to remove the tree stump so that the tree is permanently removed.

Idk if there is a logical way to do the same for bushes.
Not fun building a base and you find out you built over a tree and it blocks your entrance.

The logical idea would be to only allow this option within your flag area to mitigate that possibility.

Then what about the players who build small bases in the deep woods using the trees to screen players from seeing their base until they get closer! Now all of a sudden there is a clearing where before there was not!
:::::::::
Would it not just be easier to not allow trees to grow through the walls and foundations.

if permanently removing trees are only allowed in your flag area and by the flag squad. This would never happen, the goal of my idea is that you can choose which trees you want to remove. Maybe a big squad want to remove all the trees in thier flag area so that they can build a big base. Maybe there is just a few trees that are blocking you from doing something that you want to remove.

my friend suggested all trees regrow if you destroy a flag, problem solved

and the tree inside my base blocks the entrance and its annoying

well permanent as long as you have a flag, but you can still chose not to remove it

its not for aesthetics, i got a tree in my base that blocks my entrance

+1 mine was just a suggestion to the OP for the impossible request (permamently remove trees)

This is another thing gonna work quiet opposite in SP comparing to MP. Its like same as with ability to toe vehicles.
As mostly SP casual player in that type of game, same as other players like me, I usually collecting, managing, hunting, farming, building. And having ability... like some sort of SP exclusive item(some toxin/pestecide) that will allow me to shave area & get rid of vegetation & removing it's spawn points... I rly would like to have that kind of feature for SP. Maybe not for all vegetation, but at least for active/cutable ones.
So somehow yeah...
+1 to that suggestion.
