Temporary switch from 3rd to 1st person while drawing a bow

I prefer playing in 3rd person and I like how aiming with guns (ADS) automatically switches to 1st person and then goes back to 3rd person. However, with bows I have to manually switch camera mode every time I want to shoot, as it is impossible to aim in 3rd person. Is there a reason why drawing a bow doesn't switch camera like aiming a gun does?

I have this same problem. It got so annoying that I decided to switch to a crossbow instead.

Back then, you could aim with a bow in 3rd person. Then they nerfed it for PVP balance and left it as is.

Great idea. I have set 3rd - 1st swap to my mouse thumb button so I can swap quickly.

It's a dev decision to differentiate bow from xbow/rifles. Same for the white dot.

Use this small trick. Map one on your mouse buttons the switch view shortcut and so it's just 2 mouse button to press to shoot (one to enter FPV and the LMB to shoot).
Quite easy and make the use of the bow much more efficient.
