cooking and eating zombies is too op imo
there are lots of lonely zombies you can kill easily, then cutting their clothes and bodies gives you enough to make a firepit and cook it.
cooking it gives you 100 points for one zombie, and eating the zombie gives you tons of metabolism resources.
like eating one zombies give you enough to never eat again for hours, you dont care anymore bout the whole mechanic (which in my opinin is great) but after doing this youre full of everything.

zombies shouldnt be eatable, and humans should give you a lot less metabolism resources, and points

Agreed.

But to be honest, the "puppets" are humans just...in a zombie like state so you SHOULD be able to eat them

its should be poisoned, its a rotten corpse.
same goes for players, yeah theyre fresh but still gives you tons of carb, proteins, minerals vitamins, etc. with one body you dont have to eat ever again.

If I was a dev for this game I would make a suggestion to the group and say that the "puppet" meat should be cooked before eaten (and you will have to later on this is for all meat besides beef most likely)

They will probably fix it. So far i'm mostly feeding on corpses cause it's easily available and has no drawbacks. I also eat them raw, didn't even bother with cooking.

It seems raw meat will produce diseases now. It has to be cooked.

I feel that it shouldn't be eaten raw but cooked it should be ok

I think they disabled eating raw zombie burgers, until diseases and sicknesses are added. Coming soon apparently. This is something that was said in another thread, so it might not be true. Maybe you cant eat any raw meat? I havent played since the last patch.

Humans are a very good source of food if you can get over the whole cannible thing. Also, once they really enforce spoilage, it'll require you to pre-cook meat in order to keep it/eat it otherwise get sick. If anything, their calorie calculatioins are absolutely off the charts as you'll burn through 8k Cal just walking for 5 hours and a resting Calorie consumption rate of over 100 Cal/hr when resting. If this was true, you'd be over the minimal 2k Cal just sitting and doing absolutely nothing for 20 hours.

The overramped up calorie consumption is what requires our characters to eat every 2 in game hours just to keep barely inline with our calorie consumption.

Eatting zomies meat looks like a bug. This bug makes animal huhting pointless. Also eating raw meat makes cooking pointless.

Raw meat eating is just safe for now. More disease etc incoming.

Puppet. The other other other white meat.

Well they arent "zombies" they are puppets. I dont see this as a problem.

cooking isnt pointless cause right now its what gives you the most points

Puppet meat should have a high chance of causes food poisoning, cooked or otherwise. You could just blame Staphylococcus aureus since its enterotoxins are heat resistant and people generally have that on them to begin with. (lets just assume puppets don't have a working immune system to inhibit its growth)
