Poo Warnings Pee Warnings
Have u ever been killed by a mech because you just couldn't hold it in any longer, even in the prospect of certain death?

Well, fear no longer.

With this new feature, just like in real life, even if you have to make an emergency poop after a questionably made taco, you will still be given warnings about that fact, a good few seconds before you really have to go and can no longer prevent the floodgates from opening.

Devs, plz make short warnings for emergency poops and longer warnings for normal poops, and urinations happen. So maybe a UI icon pops up on the screen and starts blinking. Maybe 30 seconds for emergency poops, 2-5 minutes for normal ones. The icon can be the intestine or colon for poop, and a bladder for peeing. It blinks quicker the closer you are to pooping your pants.

You can also just make sure you use the bathroom before you engage. Hold Tab > Do your business. Profit.

You do get warned that you need to go.

You mean like the text warning? Dude that thing is tiny and dissapears in no time at all. It should be like a specific big fat icon in the right bottom part of the screen.

Also, I am NOT going to be pooping each time I engage because each fight, with mechs for example, might have 6-7 different engagements or at least times when I could get shot. That's just not happening and way too much headache, so the UI icon would be far superior in my opinion.

+1 for additional icons.
In real life u dont need to check special menu to understand that u need to poo. U just feel it.
Same for pee/hunger/water.

On the other hand, I would like to see urgent need to piss and poop if you experience near shots and your character get scared. Forcing pooping even if you are not full. Might require additional moral character ability.

To counteract this, you might need to drink some alchohol or take drugs. You will be more brave then, not pooping in pants, but you may suffer from alchohol and drug usage effects.

Plenty of ideas when you already have that poop mechanic in game :)

I'm pretty sure many people got problem with HOLDING certain STUFF in the prospect of upcoming death.

The thing is that you could force moving when the whole animation of Imma-not-holding-the-bagagge-anymore starting. It would have some downsides like... well.. for sure there is some kind of way to give a proper punishement for that but still.

So yea, right now you should do STRATEGICAL POOP before the action but I agree that being killed because my character suddenly decided that the spot in the middle of the military zone, between 2 barracks, flooded with zombies and surounded by mechs is PERFECT place to drop THE CARGO.

do it in your pants should be an option....people don't crap while under duress.

Before entering sites with the mechs just to a tactical squat and you're good to go for a while. Personally, I'd rather trade a notification for being able to FULLY void your bowels. Or maybe having two icons to select from like normal poop or full poop which takes a bit longer but fully voids you. I mean, you don't only pee out half your bladder right? So why hold on to some poop?

Also good idea, crapping your pants while very bad, should not automatically result in your character auto pooping. Crap your pants and then have to clean it out if you fail to detect poop in time.

i.e. punish the player if they don't respond to poop icon blinking. maybe have associated debuffs like slower walking and just general disgust or something.

Actually they do. Part of the lizard brain reaction to life and death situations is to void everything to flood the area with scent and save weight for a quick sprint away from danger. Don't see it as much in modern times because we don't often have sabertooth tigers leaping out of the bushes at us, but the wiring is still in there ;)

you get text warnings already if you care to look and if youve to pee the char also wiggles around if idle. check the metabolism tab and do your business infront of an engagement and everything except diarrhoe is fine.

That's what he meant. Don't know if that's a part of the reptillian side of the brain or not, but a lot of animals we evolved in parallel to definitely have that reaction in a fight, and tend to loosen their bowels so that the only thing they are sending blood and oxygen to are the muscles used in that fight.
