I can access the admin settings but it doesn't allow me to save any changes

Hello :),

Make sure there is no red entry in the settings. If needed change the marked entry so the red warning dissapear. Then you can save the settings.

So I was helping a friend out with her server and we discovered that you have to reset ALL settings to default before you can hit the apply but on changed settings.

We are having that same trouble on our server why does this kind of thing have to be so hard to figure out.. this is 2023 for god sakes... i shouldnt need a Doctorate in partical physics to save some damn server settings

I agree. If I am an admin, why do I have to add myself into a file? Or, have to reset all my settings (like someone said) to be able to apply the few that I want to change. I was going to give the game another try after the patch but I got a headache trying to figure it out

I agree. If I am an admin, why do I have to add myself into a file? Or, have to reset all my settings (like someone said) to be able to apply the few that I want to change. I was going to give the game another try after the patch but I got a headache trying to figure it out

Hey, we've decided to separate adminusers.ini and the serversettingsusers.ini because then you would have admins that can change server settings as well. And some very big server owners that have over 10 admins on their servers wouldn't want the admins to change server settings as well. So we've decided that the server owners can now put who can change the server settings and who will be solely be an admin on the server. Hopefully this makes sense.

We found that with the new change the devs did our motd was in red...It was too long after we shortened the motd we could then save our settings.
So not only did they change the vanilla ping from 255 to 200 they shortened our ability to make a message of the day!

It Does make sense now, Idk if you will see this post here but i would like to suggest to add a server restart button on the setting for admins that do have the ability to change the settings etc. Im asking this cause i am an admin of a pve server where the owners and the main admin is not playing scum and is never around in the discord, He gave us control of the ingame settings but we still dont have access to Gportal to restart the server, and everyday at about 5pm Pst for some reason every server we have access to is not joinable it says its Temporary Unavailable.. Restart Fixes this but the daily restart is 4 hours away at 5pm so the whole server is down for 4+ hours.... If we had a restart server button it would be easy fix

I hope they can do something like that. Every time I make a change I have to text my friend so he can restart the server
