The error is old, and it’s amusing to write about it. An eternal problem of the game.
Died. I was killed by an NPC. I respawned in the same sector and reached it in 4 minutes. But it was empty. Only what I had in my hands before dying lay on the floor. A shotgun and a pistol. No body, no items.
I undid the saves and started testing.
At any other time, the body disappears. It doesn’t matter how long it takes you to get to it. If you reach your body within a minute, it may disappear. If you get there in 10 minutes, it’s still there. Or vice versa. And it’s always like that, by chance.

For me i hapens os stairs and on bridges,
1. the Stone stairs up to the hospital.
2. The bridge in Samobor. from the china shop across the channel to the school/church
