I put a lock on chest, and I'm immediately locked out of it

I built a chest, then built a gold lock, put the lock on the chest and now I'm locked out of it.

I'm not in range of another player's flag
Any (useful) ideas as to why this happened or how to deal with it?

Are you part of a squad.

Did you set it as private. Private means it is your chest and no one but you can open it normally.

Hello mate, thanks again - you already answered this one, you recommended I post it in the 'bugs' area of discussions :) to answer your question - I have no options regarding squad privacy when I hold f. just bury, examine, maintain, pick lock. It doesn't seem to be a squad rights issue.

I'm hoping a dev answers so I can tell them what's in there and get my stuff (and hopefully new gold lock) back before it all degrades.
