Uncatchable fish (never gets tired)

How do i catch the big fish? It doesn't get tired, never...

Not even after over 15 minutes of slowly scrolling up... it just keeps pulling and pulling like crazy with no change.

I was expecting the fish to get tired after a while and pull less and less, but its not the case.

Is this a bug or am i doing it wrong?

ps: the biggest fish i was able to catch was about 6kg, but that was like normal, the fish gives you a chance to catch it

doesnt matter where, anywhere you can get this big fish that just pulls forever.. c3 lake, the ocean, rivers

Unfortunately it's true, fish never tire out in the game right now. In real life a bass fighting for life won't have enough stamina to last 1 or 2 minutes. After that time you can be sure it will be so exhausted it will end up floating upside down. If you fish for sport by doing catch and release, you want to make sure you have stong enough tackle to land the fish fast, otherwise you will kill it.

And its true about 6kg fish, that is about the heaviest fish you can catch with the best fishing gear available now in the game.

6 kg fish is all I can catch, too. Others have caught bigger fish by releasing slowly with the mousewheel and shift-mousewheel reeling in more than was given, apparently without breaking the line. I suspect success to some degree might be tied to a skill or stat (like dex or survival), but that's just a guess.

same here, some fishes are crazy, I have the best fishing gear and still can't catch those. the biggest I got so far is 15kg.

Some of the devs just need to take a break and go fishing. Then come back and adjust the game :)

There's a way to catch 15kg plus fish with any rod setup. Kinda cheap though imo. Caught a 25kg tuna with improvised line, reel, rod, treble hook and boilies.

me too, happen today. been trying to catch the fish for 20 minutes until the bait gone
