some base building elements can't be built / upgraded
This has been an issue since before the new BB elements but has been made worse since the BB update.

Base building is very broken.
I've had this problem, the triangle floor problem (several threads about it already), and have just given up trying to build a base in this version as the "stability" is an utter mess. It won't let me place a floor panel supported by 2 walls AND 2 support frames because of "weak stability" but is quite happy for me to place one sticking out of the side of the building into thin air, only attached at 1 edge. It's a design I've built with no issue several times in previous updates but can't be done now.
I say "design"... It's a square. 3x3.

Hey. Thanks for the report. We're looking into such issues, please do provide any and all such issues you encounter, as providing specific building patterns that do not work are extremely helpful to us.

I've tried building the same thing in single player but it seems to work there. Must just be a multiplayer issue somehow. Would a dev joining the server be able to see why? Or nah? Want the server IP?

Built twig wall on upgraded floor with upgraded floor above, then decided I wanted a single door there instead, demolished twig wall which demolished upgraded floor square above, built single door frame but the twig floor would not place back above door frame, had to demolish the two upgraded floor elements each side and then add the twig flooring back, had same thing happen when building another upper floor and could not place a twig floor element above a door frame after floor was upgraded from twig, demolished twig door frame and twig floor element turned green to place, I could then upgrade that bit of floor from twig and then put back door frame, it all works but it is a pain in the butt to figure out a work-around to make it work, great improvement but not quite right yet.

Currently unable to place door frames after twig foundation, walls and floor above have been built. Says "Overlapping" while there is nothing else around besides the elements stated above. This is on square foundation.

Here is an example: https://imgur.com/NQ4mYZl

When building the second floor, there are four spots that I can't build a normal triangle floor piece in. The middle ring has supports going around and the outer ring has walls going around.

The triangle pieces with the hatch in it works pretty much everywhere from what I've seen - I wonder if that logic can be used for the non-hatch triangle too?
